Orthodox tea leaves require calibrated water temperature and steeping duration to release their pure aromatic volatiles without astringency.
These leaves can be steeped multiple times, with each infusion revealing different layers of flavour. Increase steeping time slightly with each infusion.
Heat fresh filtered spring water to 85°C. Warm your teaware. Steep 2.5g in 200ml for 3 minutes. Decant fully between infusions; add 30s for subsequent steeps.

ORIGIN & TERROIR
Perched in the mist-crowned valley east of Darjeeling town, Risheehat ('Home of the Holy Sages') is celebrated for steep mountain slopes rising above 6,000 feet. Diurnal temperature fluctuations between chilly Himalayan nights and intense daytime sun trigger terpene synthesis in young clonal bushes.
